What is an MMO?

An MMO is a massively multiplayer online game is an online game with large numbers of players, often hundreds or thousands, on the same server. MMOs usually feature a huge, persistent open world and some huge dungeons which will require you to team up with allies in order to take down!

MMOs can enable players to cooperate and compete with each other on a large scale, and sometimes to interact meaningfully with people around the world. They include a variety of gameplay types, representing many video game genres. This is how we met some of our long-term friends!

In MMO’s you have your main quest but what else is there to do?

There are many! From completing side missions to slaying mobs and do big dungeons whilst teaming up with pals! In the upcoming game New World, you’ll need to team up with pals and fight in Outpost rush where you’ll need to attack or defend your base and beat off enemy players! This is just the start of endless possibilities you can do in MMO’s!

Why is community so important?

Community is games is vital because without a community the game won’t progress but with a good core community it will make games enjoyable and it is good for tips and tricks that you weren’t aware of previously. Even the big single-player MMO’s have great communities that are a joy to be a part of. Communities really make or break a game because it can make it very boring if there isn’t a community to talk to!

Why does New World look fun to play?

New World will have an amazing community due to people having to communicate between factions and companies. This will make it fun to be a part of! New World has many things to do in the game such as Crafting, Gathering, Smelting. Now if you do this as a group with friends it can be a bundle of laughs! New World has things from slaying mobs to crafting items for your guild whether or not you’re a PvP player or PvE player this MMO is great to play. We had a combined 300 hours in the beta and are looking forward to launch!
