Here we will walk you through our thoughts on how your account progress should look when the game releases!

Week 1 – So you’ve just gotten into the world of Eternum along with many other players all starting out fresh skinned and are not sure of your surroundings. Some if not most of us will have sat through a 4-hour queue just to get into the start of the game! But the wait will be worth it as you slay your first enemy. So, for the first week you should look to prioritize the tutorial quests as these will give you exp and crucial items such as skinning knife and axes. These will be very beneficial for later! Whilst doing your tutorial quests you should do the faction intro and go to speak to all of the factions and pick one out that you and your friends would be happy in joining (there are no benefits to joining one or another however if one dominates the map then it’ll be an issue.) You should look to team up with friends so you can share exp and battle mobs much quicker therefore you’ll progress quicker as a group and not leave a man behind. If you wish to stay ahead of the rest of the player base, then you should just focus on levelling and leave the professions until a later date however don’t neglect them or you’ll be playing catch up! They have changed the way the mobs work now so before you could wander into a high-level area and kill the mobs quite easily however now they’ve changed the code so mobs will have higher armour and damage based on how much higher the mob is than you. So, if the mob is 3 levels above you, they’ll get the armour buff, and 5 levels will be increased damage. If the mob is 6 levels or more above, you then you’ll get one shot instantly.

Week 2 – This is where you’ll start to see a change of power as factions will start to claim territories and be invading each other. If you have focussed on levelling for the last week, then you should have a big advantage over the rest because not only will your base stats be higher, but you will have better weapons. So, if you get drafted into a siege then you’ll be better prepared. Here you’ll start to see the tryhards of your server because you’ll think you are levelling well and hit 25 and you’ll see levels 50-60’s running around one shotting mobs. But don’t worry go at your own pace as after all this is your game not theirs. Breaches will start around this time so partner up with friends and get closing them because they could drop juicy rewards. Also, if you can do excavations then definitely do as these can drop some rare items which will seem OP for your level.

Week 3 – Most of the players will hit or be very close to max level here so if you aren’t close then be careful when you turn PvP mode on because there will be people who group up on you and just one shot you for fun! If you’ve followed the levelling guide, then you should be able to enter end game zones where the mobs will be an issue for your team, and you’ll have to fight smarter rather than aimlessly firing. Once you are max level don’t forget to pick up your legendary weapon quests as they’ll come in useful for levelling up your weapon. By the third week you should have your main weapon maxed and a fair way through your second, this will greatly benefit you because you get much better skills for levelling it.
