Attributes

As you enter the New World of Aeternum you and your friends will face many challenges both alone or together, either working as a team to defeat deadly enemies or to roam and explore the world in all its glory.

The beauty of New World is that destiny is in your own hands; after a short introduction to the game, you’ll be thrown into this vast world, at this point you can immediately follow a short tutorial of quests which will lead you to the first settlement as you begin your journey.

Attributes

One of the ways your character will develop in power is through the attribute’s you gain to spend as you level up in New World.

When your character first enters the game you’ll start with 5 attribute points in each stat. Upon levelling your character you will obtain 2 more attribute points to distribute between 5 different attributes in the game, As you gain a higher level the number of attribute points you gain per level will increase slowly over time.

The attributes you decide to increase have an important bearing on your character and you should think about which attribute will work best for the weapons you plan to use. In addition, reaching key milestones will reward you additional benefits such as increased encumbrance limits or reduced Azoth costs. You should bear those in mind when prioritise alongside your weapon of choice. Below is a brief description of what each attribute can offer you.
