Outpost Rush is a large-scale 20 v 20 PvP with some PvE thrown in! Outpost rush will be available to level 60 players in New World so make sure you meet the requirements to compete in one. The basic requirements are to be level 60, In a faction. Outpost Rush balances resource management, objective control, and building up their forts to withstand assaults from the enemy team. In the Closed Beta, we saw people in these events and we cannot deny that they look awesome!!! To get in one you’ll need to fill the requirements and then queue up at a settlements Outpost Rush NPC this can be done solo or with up to 5 of your mates! So Don’t miss out on this mental feature as we think it could be one of the best features in the game!

How does Outpost Rush work in New World?

It’s a 20v20 scene with you and your friends/allies vs 20 randoms on the enemy team. This is sort of a mini-game in which you’ll compete. You’ll be fighting to gain control of outposts of which they are 3 of. Luna, Sol and Astra are the 3 outposts which you’ll be fighting for control. It’s like playing capture the flag and you’ll need strategies to win whether defend your outpost or attack the opposing outpost. At the start, there will be a huge race to get to the outposts and start earning points. The way to win is to earn 1000 points so you’ll need to win the majority of the outposts over time.

What PvE occurs during Outpost Rush?

There are 3 PvE objectives that occur during the Outpost Rush! Baroness Hain, Curropted Portal and the Summoning Circle. These will be contested whilst you are fighting for objective control so keep your wits about yourself and maybe you’ll need to concede some points for the greater good!

Baroness Hain: You can defeat Baroness Hain which gives you a buff for health regen and defence. The spawn time is 600 seconds. The name will most likely be shortened to Baron like the game League Of Legends!

Corrupted Portal: This is the place where you deposit azoth essence and get powerful corrupted enemies that will charge at your enemies outpost and fight along your side!

Summoning Circle: Head here to the totem and summoning beasts to fight along your side!

Now if you happen to win what’s the rewards like?

The rewards are decent so try and win!! You’ll get cosmetics, rare items and better armour. If you win the items will most likely be better than what you currently have so try and get the W and get that loot!
